GB120 Scooter – Air Travel Preparation & Battery Handling Guide
Before traveling with your GB120 Scooter, please follow these important steps to ensure safety and compliance with airline regulations:

Pre-Travel Checklist
• Read the Manuals: Carefully read your Owner’s Manual and Quick Start Guide before operating or transporting the scooter.
• Contact Your Airline: Notify your airline in advance regarding your travel with a lithium-ion battery. Refer to the battery specifications chart for details.
• Power Down: Turn off the scooter and remove the key.
• Remove Battery Pack: Press the battery pack release button to remove the battery.
• Use Protective Covers: Place both the main and spare battery packs in their protective carrying cases to secure the terminals and prevent damage during travel.
Airline Travel Regulations for Lithium-Ion Batteries
• The pilot-in-command must be informed of the location of:
• The mobility device (scooter)
• The removed battery pack
• Any spare battery pack(s)
Battery Limits:
• A maximum of two (2) lithium-ion battery packs may be carried onboard
• Each battery pack must not exceed 160 Watt-hours (Wh)

Preparation for Travel:
• Notify your airline before your trip and review the Lithium-ion Battery specifications in the chart above.
• Turn off the scooter and remove the key.
• Press the battery pack release button to remove the battery pack.
• Place the battery pack—and any spare—into their protective carrying covers. This ensures the packs and their terminals are securely protected during air travel.
Airline Travel Regulations:
• The pilot-in-command must be informed of the location of the mobility device, the removed battery pack, and any spare battery pack to handle potential emergencies.
• Passengers may carry a maximum of two battery packs, each not exceeding 160 WH.
• Removed and spare battery packs must be protected from damage (for example, by placing each in a protective pouch).
• For Lithium-ion battery packs, the number and Watt-hour rating of both the installed and spare packs must be clearly displayed on the outside of the case.
